Sweden marked 5th Anniversary of the Syrian Revolution

Over the last week many rallies have been held in Syria and around the world to mark the 5th Anniversary of the Syrian revolution. Only on one day, March 18, 480 different rallies all over ‪#‎Syria‬ were recorded. #TheRevolutionContinues
March 15 marked the fifth anniversary of the Syrian uprising.
March 18 is the day when the first activist was killed by Syrian government forces.

Also in Sweden several rallies have been held last week. #SWEwithSYR

Somar Al Naher started with a call for a minute of silence for all the victims of the brutal violence in Syria. Then speech in Swedish and Arabic by Nadia AlHaj, Chairman of the Association Syria Sweden.

Speech in Swedish and Arabic by Abdulbaset Sieda, Kurdish, former President of the Syrian National Council (SNC) then Ibrahim Qashoush’s song ”Come on, Bashar, Time to Leave.”

Speech in Swedish by Amineh Kakabaveh, Kurdish,  Member of the Swedish parliament for the Swedish Left Party (Swedish: Vänsterpartiet): The Syrian people must be at the center of the peace negotiations, not the great powers.
