ABC Daycare fire case: Seven years without justice

Yesterday elections in 14 states of Mexico, but it was also a day of Remembrance for truth and justice for the for the 49 children who died in the fire on June 5, 2009 at the ABC day-care centre in Hermosillo, state of Sonora in Mexico.

ABC was a time bomb

The blaze had started at a tyre depot next door and spread across the laminate roof to the adjoining nursery.
There were no emergency exits in the nursery, with the only way out through the front door.
There was no sprinkler system and no fire extinguishers, the smoke detectors and alarms were faulty, and the staff were poorly trained.

The march started from Angel of Independence.

And passed by the +43 anti-monument for the 43 missing students of Ayotzinapa.

The march ended at Zócalo, the main square in central Mexico City
